I heard that idea some days ago… Found it today. Crazy!!!

BT and Sonik Architects created a very cool iPhone and iPod Touch app: Sonifi.

It seems the buttons are a little small… But fun to play with!

And if you don’t know who is BT (creator of the sounds), please do yourself a favour and grab “This Binary Universe”! It’s one of the best albums ever made in my opinion!

I’m totally addicted to this Kettel song! The harmony at 02:00 makes me cry!

Last week I heard one of the most beautiful soundtracks! It was on the touching Japanese movie called Okuribito (Departures).

The composer is the genius Joe Hisaishi who also wrote the themes of  the Hayao Miyazaki animated movies (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Totoro).

Both the movie and the soundtracks are incredible! Recommended!

I’ve been listening to “Leylines” for two weeks now and I think I can express my opinions about the album. It’s absolutely AMAZING!!!

In fact, I think is the best Ultimae release since the last Asura album (“Life²”), and that’s saying a lot if you look at the label stream of great releases.

Some adjectives I can think about this album are: Incredibly deep, sharp, reflective and hypnotic. Amazing production skills!

Easily the best ambient album of 2009 and his best since “Season 5″. GO GET IT!
